If you really want to experience Captain Tsubasa at its finest when it comes to Anime, you should definitely check out the original 1983 series plus the Shin Captain Tsubasa OVA which is pretty much a direct continuation of the original 1983 series produced by a different Animation Team, also, check out the five films that were made, four of them as part of the original 1983 Captain Tsubasa Anime and the other one being an OVA made by the same team responsible for Shin Captain Tsubasa which served as a prelude to Captain Tsubasa J.
